Today’s collision centers rely on a wide range of vendor partners to enable them to serve customers and repair vehicles effectively.  Products and services provided by these vendors include parts, paint & materials, sublet services, tools and equipment, as well as business services, such as estimating and RO management support, accounting, insurance, and building maintenance.  Collision center managers are challenged to marshal all available resources to create an effective sales and production process.  This includes the facility, equipment, employees, and vendors.  It takes a team to manage a business.  As written by poet John Donne, “No man is an island, entire of itself.”  In this month’s IMPACT Collision Solutions, we will discuss the value of vendor partners to collision centers.
