It seems certain that prices on critical commodities are increasing everywhere we look and will continue to do so for many months ahead.  Fuel, food, clothing, housing, autos and auto parts.  Nothing seems exempt.  The prices for Paint and Materials are no exception.  Manufacturers are raising prices due to raw material costs, supply chain issues, and other reasons.  Distributors, like ACS, are forced to pass these increases along to collision centers, but collision centers often are limited in the increases they can pass along to the insurance carriers.  However, there are several ways that collision centers can offset, or at least mitigate, these increased costs.   In this month’s Collision Solutions, we will describe several ways that we can work together to help you overcome these price increases and be more profitable and productive.  Please take some time to review our suggestions.
